Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! While I’m based in Lawrence, Kansas, I photograph weddings throughout Kansas and beyond. Travel within a certain distance is included in my collections, and I’m always happy to discuss celebrations further away.
Do you travel for weddings?
While I always recommend working with a wedding planner or coordinator, I’m happy to offer guidance when it comes to your photography timeline. A thoughtful timeline helps the day feel relaxed and allows space for meaningful moments to unfold naturally. I’m always happy to collaborate with your planner to ensure everything flows smoothly and your photography is given the time it deserves.
Do you help with our wedding timeline?
Every wedding is unique, but most couples receive between 450–750 images depending on the collection they choose and the flow of the day.
How many photos will we receive?
You’ll receive a set of sneak peeks within 48 hours, and your full gallery is typically delivered within 6–8 weeks.
When will we receive our photos?
I offer direction during portraits to help you feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera. The goal is always to create images that feel both beautifully composed and true to you.
Do you pose us during portraits?
Most portrait sessions take place outdoors in natural light around the Lawrence area. I’m always happy to suggest locations that fit the look and feel you’re envisioning.
Where do portrait sessions take place?
Portrait galleries are usually delivered within 3-4 weeks after your session.
How long does it take to receive our photos?
If weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll simply reschedule for the next available date.
What happens if the weather is bad?
After booking, I’ll send a guide with outfit inspiration and tips to help you choose something that photographs beautifully while still feeling like yourself.
What should we wear to our session?
Most couples book between 9–18 months in advance. I take on a limited number of weddings each year to ensure each couple receives a thoughtful and personal experience, so earlier inquiries are always encouraged.
